- Be familiar with how to plan and execute the restoration of an Osstem implant
- Be able to assess the parameters which determine the patients likely aesthetic outcome
- Understand how to use provisional restorations to achieve desired aesthetic results
- Be able to identify Osstem implant components & select appropriate healing caps and abutments
- Consideration of pros and cons of screw & cement retained implant crowns
- Be familiar with implant impression techniques, their pros and cons and materials to use
- Hands-on exercise taking impressions using different types of impression copings

Specialist Prosthodontist
Dr Khamis qualified as a dentist from King’s College London. He underwent further training at the Bristol Dental Hospital, gaining experience in oral surgery
and restorative dentistry. He embarked upon specialist registrar training in Prosthodontics at The Eastman Dental Institute, London; there he completed a Masters of Clinical Dentistry in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics. On obtaining his Membership in Restorative Dentistry, he became a General Dental Council registered specialist in Prosthodontics.
