Course Aims
• Learn how to plan implants using guided surgery
• Learn the workflow using Exoplan in treatment planning
• Understand how to design and produce surgical guides
• Understand the limitations and complications in guided surgery
• Experience Hands on implant surgery using guided surgery
• Experience Hands on Implant Prosthetics using Digital Dentistry

• CT Scanning (Hands-on)
• Successfully treatment plan implant cases
• Successfully place implants with surgical guides
• Confidently use EXOPLAN for team communication
• Successfully design Surgical Guides
• Confidently place implants using guided surgery
• Confidently use an Intraoral scanner to transfer digital data
for model free implant crowns

Lecture – Complications in Guided Surgery & Troubleshooting CBCT Considerations
Hands On – Patients Acquisition and Setup in software
Hands On – Setup case in Exoplan and Importing Data correctly /adding deleting data
Clay Pigeon Shooting Experience and Lunch: 12.00 – 2.30 pm
Afternoon: 2.45pm – 5.30pm
Hands On – Digital Waxup and correct prosthetic envelope and implant positioning
Hands On – Mandibular Nerve tracing & simple Case Planning
Hands On – Implant placement planning and paralleling implants
Hands On – Virtual Extraction
Social Evening Sushi Meal at Ciscoes – Norwich
Itinerary – Day 2 (Saturday)
Morning: 9.00 am – 12.30 am
Lecture – Guided Sinus Lift
Hands On – Guide Design with Guide Creator
Hands On – Using the Osstem One Guide Kit and place implants in models using surgical guides
Demo: Planning and executing complex cases
Lunch: 12.30pm-1.30pm
Afternoon: 1.30pm – 4.30pm
Hands On – Digital Prosthetics and Scanflags
Hands On – How to scan effectively and understanding digital data transferred to the labz
Hands On – Digital Scanning with Medit i700 and model free implant dentistry
Lecture – Digital Prosthetic Errors and scanning troubleshooting
Hands On – Design an implant crown in Exocad
Demo – Milling implants crowns in house and how to outsource manufacturing
